Before, shopping means long lines to the cashier area; bringing in cash and cards, and doing rounds to every floors of the mall. Today, you can seat down on your favorite chair at home or at the office and browse online for your wants and needs.Thank you to whoever thought of internet banking!
In the Philippines, shopping online is now becoming a trend with the birth of groupon sites and sellers in the cyberspace. Good thing there are reputable companies that we can trust when we are dealing with companies in the internet.
Affirming its place as one of the country's largest and most profitable private universal banks, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), for the second year running, was named as the Philippines' Best Banking Group by World Finance during its annual Banking Awards.

In line with its vision to be the leading innovator of integrated financial services in the country, RCBC has since strengthened its electronic banking channels, particularly for its Retail Banking and Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) sectors, creating new growth opportunities for its consumer market and catering to the unbanked segment of the Philippine population.

Under Personal Internet Banking is RCBC AccessOne, an Internet Banking facility that enables customers access their RCBC Accounts and do banking transactions online 24/7.

For Corporate account, RCBC offers Enterprise Banking that offers an Internet Banking Facility for special needs and requirements of corporate and business clients.

List of 2014 Holidays in the Philippines

It's just the second day of the year and it still feels like a holiday season. Translation: I still don't feel like going to work.

Well, I'm sure I am not one who feels the same. It's just now that I can really relax after the crazy Christmas rush, party everywhere and cooking marathons in the last weeks of December.

Then, I logged in to Facebook and look what I've found: A list of 2014 Natio9nal Holidays posted by Manila Bulletin. Now, I'm really still in vacation mode.

Well, I'll keep this for reference purposes anytime soon :)

Dishes we want to see on our table all year round

Happy new year to everyone!

The last two weeks for most of us Pinoys might have been very busy especially in our kitchen and dining room because of the holiday season. Imagine preparing a feast for our family and loved ones for Noche Buena and then after a week, an equally generous table for our Media Noche celebration at home.

My family loves pasta. That's why I prepared baked lasagna to go along with our special home-made pizza. I tried using Clara Olé products this year since I've been reading a lot of blog posts about the product recently. For the lasagna, I used their Sweet Style because I want my 4-year old son Charles to have a plate of it. Our pizza was uber yummy with Clara Ole pasta sauce Three Chees. Other classic pasta sauces that we will try soon are the Italian Style, Mushroom, Cheesy Pesto, Bacon & Cheese, Chunky Tomato with Three Cheese, and Onion & Garlicto.

Here are some recommendation from Clara Ole, which is becoming a favorite brand in our home now.

Whipping up a tasty and tangy treat for those who love chicken as part of their holiday dinner table will surely find “Orange Glazed Wings” a perfect delicacy. Just take out your chicken wings from the fridge and transform it into a delectable delight using three Clara Olé products: Clara Olé Orange Marmalade, Clara Olé Filipino Style Pasta Sauce and the Clara Olé Spicy Barbecue Marinade.

Care for beef to go with your chicken to wow your guests? Try “Asian Beef Stew,” something tried-and-tested to pump up the holiday dining experience. Just cut your beef briskets and transform it into a more delightful dish through the Clara Olé Kung Pao Pasta Sauce and Clara Olé Chunky Tomato with Basil Sauce, coupled with simple and easily available spices. Watch as this simple dish makes your holiday dining truly memorable.

This generation of food lovers is indeed very lucky, for Clara Olé is now available to help make cooking delicious and appetizing dishes even easier and worry-free even for first-time cooks.

If you’re a pancake lover, especially the kids, try the Clara Olé Pancake Syrups (Original, Maple, which also has a sugar-free version, Cinnamon)or the chocolate-flavored ones like Clara Olé classic Choco and Choco-Nut Syrup, and also Truly Fruity (Banana Apple Cinnamon, Strawberry Bananamia, Blueberry Thrill, and Groovy Strawberry).

For those into marinating their favorite meat or seafood, use any of the mouth-watering Clara Olémarinades (Original, Inasal, Honey Mustard, Hickory, Spicy, Korean, Tapa and Tocino) or you can try Clara Olé Dips n’ Dressings like Thousand Island, Caesar, Honey Mustard, Ranch and Asian, plus Orange, Sesame, Pesto, Parmesan and Mango Vinaigrettes for lovers of salads and greens to watch their weight during the holidays.

Jams and Jellies for your holiday breads? Try Clara OléOrange Marmalade (also with sugar free variant) Pineapple Jam, Mango Pineapple Jam, Mango Jam, Strawberry Jam (also with sugar free version), Blueberry Jam and Guava Jelly.

Salivating about Clara Olé’s value offerings for the holidays? Just visit www.claraole.com or “Like” www.Facebook.com/myclaraole or connect via Instagram @claraolephand share your unforgettable cooking encounters and dining experiences using Clara Olé products.

After all that gigantic gastronomic prepping for the holidays, your next concern must be holiday food leftovers, particularly traditional spaghetti that kids love, so you may need to think of what to do with the leftover spaghetti sauce. Well, don’t fret. You can still use it in so many ways in combo with other food like tacos, nachos, tortilla wraps or even sauce topping for pizzas, too.
